Shabbat Schedule
September through May

1st Friday: Shabbat Service
6:00 pm

This service is reflective of our traditional roots and the melodies of worship reflect the strong musical tradition in our congregation.

2nd Friday: Family Service
7:30 pm
The service is led by students in our religious school and our youth choir. We also honor birthdays each month with a gift provided by our congregation. Features a story told by the Rabbi and Torah reading.

3rd Friday:
Shabbat/Healing Service
6 pm
Shabbat Shelly congregational dinner
7 pm
This service is a taste of the best Temple Israel offers with melodies and worship in a meaningful way. A D’var Torah is the highlight of this service. Following services, there is a free and open Shabbat Dinner in our social hall, sponsored by the congregation and in memory of Dr. Shelly Peskin Godshall who always welcomed others to her table. Reservations are requested for dinner.

4th Friday: Shabbat Service
7:30 p.m.
Torah and Haftarah are read and a sermon is given by the Rabbi.

5th Friday: Shabbat Service
7:30 p.m.
This service is reflective of our traditional roots and the melodies of worship reflect the strong musical tradition in our congregation. This service is complete with a Torah and Haftarah reading and sermon from the Rabbi.
