MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

New members are always welcome. Please feel free to visit and become comfortable with Temple Israel.  Visit one of our Friday night Shabbat services; identify yourself as a "visitor" or a "potential member" to one of our ushers who will greet you as you enter our Shabbat services. Take a moment to meet our clergy at the "Oneg Shabbat" reception that follows the service. A Temple officer or board member is also always on hand They can answer your questions about life at Temple - just ask.

Then contact our Membership Committee Chair, Robyn Cutler, for more information on the many benefits of membership with Temple Israel. She can also explain the obligations that go with membership.

Our annual dues structure utilizes the "Fair Share" model, a sliding rate schedule that varies based on annual income. Enrollment in the Temple Israel Religious School is included for all our full-time primary members. Some textbook and supply fees are additional.

No one is ever denied membership or admission to services because of financial hardship. Any request for an exception to the above guidelines will be reviewed confidentially by the Dues/Membership Committee.
